It’s February! Where has 2014 gone?

It’s Sky Scarf Sunday, instead of Saturday today (tonight) because I was away from my laptop celebrating the Lunar New Year with my family Saturday. It’s the year of the Horse, anyone’s lucky year?

Today was also Groundhog’s Day and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, predicting 6 more weeks of winter. Looks like it’s going to be true considering that the East Coast is apparently going to see some more snow late tonight/tomorrow. This cold flash is definitely making an impact on my sky scarf. Look at that huge stripe of  below freezing cream!

That darker grey stripe that I just knitted was today’s high of 51. It was nearly Spring-like, and I was looking forward to more warmer weather. I’m so tired of snow and freezing temperatures that force you inside, but it seems that Mother Nature has just decided to tease us, once again.

Friday Etsy Finds: Missing that sweater weather…

I may be of Southeast Asian descent but I have no tolerance for heat. I hate hot, humid summers and I’m craving for some weather that allows be to wear as many knitted garments as I wish, a pair of my many boots, and drink tea every day. But fall is just around the corner and soon I’ll be able to breathe in the crisp air of autumn. But for now, here’s a little taste…
